We are going to complete the "geocaching challenge" this week and practice for our enrolment of new GUIDES on October 26th. 

Let's go Geocaching!

This week we are going on an adventure.
It like a treasure hunt but using gps coordinates.

We will be GEOCACHING this week at South Memorial Park

6:30pm drop off time and pick up at 8:00pm.
We will be meeting at the monument in the middle of the park.

What you will need to bring-
- your own hand sanitizer
- dues $1
- a water bottle
- warmer clothes
- a raincoat (or cape) in case it starts raining while we are meeting
and a FLASHLIGHT!

If your GUIDE has their own cell phone with data they can also bring it to use while we are geocaching.  
The free app we are using is called Geocaching (it has a green and white logo).

Oct. 12 there will be no GUIDES as it will be Thanksgiving Monday.

Dues $1 (we will be getting into patrols tonight)

Our first week we picked up our masks and met for the first time. Lots of new Guide friends to get to know!
We took the West Coast Area Girl Guide Sidewalk Challenge and used the parking lot to create pictures of each Guide and draw things we like to do.

Welcome to our BLOG!

 

Hello and welcome our the new Girl Guide year.
Instead of a website like last year we are going to try use a blog to track of what we are doing.

For September 21st, our first week, make sure you bring...

“Be Prepared” for being outside!
- A backpack or bag to put your stuff in
- A jacket or sweater
- A water bottle (already filled)
- A mask that is worn to the meeting
(We are also supplying a hand-made mask with each Guides’ name on it)
- Rain coat (in case the weather turns)
- A camp chair or sit-a-upon (we will be sitting on cement paving)
- A flashlight! (it gets dark early)
- $1 for dues every week (You only need to pay if you attend a meeting)
