Thanks to our district cookie coordinator Brenda, many volunteers and our truck driver we had our cookies delivered today! 
Thank you for picking up your cookies this weekend.
Payment is due on - Monday, April 27th.
We will have our square at each meeting starting on March 30th.

 We finally earned our Astronomy Badges tonight!  Great job everyone. 

This week we also started to learn about Bird Watching.
Enjoy looking out for bird who come to your feeders.

What a great adventure!  You can see from a few pictures that lots of fun was had. Thanks to Samantha and Wendy for giving up part of their weekend to make this event possible for our unit.

Thinking Day - Celebrating 100 Years of Sisterhood

 

This week we celebrated Thinking Day.  It’s a worldwide day for Girl Guides and Girl Scout remember the friendship we have with 10 million friends.  We learned about how many countries have Guides and that they belong to 5 regions around the world. 

We made beads that are like ones from Kenya and saw pictures of the Big 5 animals from there. 

We shared objects we bought from other countries and enjoyed cupcakes that we made flags for.

We also had ginger tea! 

Lunar New Year - Year of the Horse

This week we will be celebrating with Guides all over the world who celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Guides are encouraged to wear RED or their regular uniform. 

We will be making Sushi, making a craft and learning about red envelopes!
