This week we are practising how to make a bedroll.
Each Guide will receive a tarp and a rope to make a proper bedroll that should be waterproof.
We have a special song to help us remember what to do!
Guides will need to bring to our meeting-
1) Sleeping bag 2) Pillow 3) extra blanket
This week we adding some bling to our name tags, on a colouring sheet we decorated promise and cut out fish to play a game later in the meeting.
We introduced ourselves and then elected our patrol leaders for the year.
Our patrol names will be...

We completed our Minty Cookie tonight. Cookie money will be due Nov. 1!

Tonight we celebrated our year together.
We had a soccer theme and we walked to pick up our happy meals. Inside each box was a squishmallow in a team jersey. We tried the Tim Bits representing four of the FIFA countries.
We gave out special patches to those who helped sell cookies at Michael’s. We gave a special camper award to Lucy for selling 20 cases of cookies. She will be going to Camp Olave this summer.
We gave away a few prizes and used the prize wheel to do so.

Even though the weather was cold and a bit wet, we went for a walk in wood!
We learned to identify both evergreen trees or one with leaves. We learned about the forest in Pacific Spirit Park and even ate some new shoots!
