Lunar New Year - Year of the Horse

This week we will be celebrating with Guides all over the world who celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Guides are encouraged to wear RED or their regular uniform. 

We will be making Sushi, making a craft and learning about red envelopes!

 Ten Guides joined us for a night of skating.

Stars

Tonight our theme was astronomy. We learned about constellations and made some well known ones with marshmallows and tooth picks and then made up our own constellations and stories to go with them. 

Each Guide got to tell their constellation story at Csmpfire! 

First Aid

We finally finished our First Aid Basics tonight!

We learned to wrap an ankle up and “mended a friend”

Critter Night

We had a great meeting learning about animals with Mike Larson.

Snowflake Enrolment Night

Tonight we finally enrolled all our new Guides.  Our theme was snowflakes so we all made a lot of different types of snowflakes! 

Movie night out!
