First Aid Part 2

This week we learned what to do if we found someone unconscious and not breathing.
We practised CPR and learned to call for help and see if there is a AED available.
We also learned how to put on a triangular bandage and use it to make a sling, oh and make a ring bandage too.

First Aid week 1

We started our meeting with First Aid “Pictionary”. 

This week we learned about everything you can find in a First Aid kit and then we put together our own First Aid kit items. 

We learned what to do in case of an emergency and we find a person unconscious. We learned how to put someone in the recovery position. 

We will remember!

There will be no Guides on November 10.

This week we made our own felt poppies. 

We wrote postcards to Veterans and leaned about how animals were used during wartime.
