National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

This week we elected patrol leaders and then our theme was learning about our Indigenous past.

We started with the story Shi-sho-etko. 

We coloured an indigenous computing sheet that had the Squamish words for  “every child matters”.

We also decorated orange shirt cookies. 

We will not be meeting on September 30 to honour the day of Truth and Reconciliation.

Critter Night

We had a great meeting learning about animals with Mike Larson. Here are a few pictures from our evening with all the animals.
