Earth Day

 I’ve missed a few entries but here is an example of our shopping bag we painted for Earth Day. Don’t forgot to change the water in your sprouts?!

Sangam Night

Tonight we learned about our Guiding Centre in India! It is called Sangam. 
We learned about how elephants are decorated and then made our own finger puppet.

Happy Lunar New Year!

 Here are some of the puny Girl Guide fortunes. 

You will go camping a lot so this year will be "in tents."

Your Lunar New Year will seem long because it will "drag-on."

You will take twelve extra boxes of Girl Guide cookies to sell -- just "in case."

Like a tree, you must "be-leaf" in yourself.

You can't spell Guides without U and I.

Rolla Fun!

 Thanks to Wendy and Meaghan for taking the 14 Guides to the Rolla Event. 

Our Chalet

This week we started our journey to “visit” the World Centres.  Our first stop is Our Chalet. 

We made marshmallow snowflakes and started to design and cut out a paper cut Swiss scene. 

Marmot Night #1

 Tonight we began our "Animal" Badge.

We learned about Endangered Species especially the Vancouver Island Marmot!
We made our own version.
