Everyone looked great during our very pink night.
We had a four stations- a cookie station, design an outfit, a decorate a cupcake and a STEM ghost movement activity. A giant pink cup held our pink lemon aid beverage.

Getting to know each other!
This week we went outside and drew chalk drawings of each other and then introduced our partners to the group.

Welcome back!
Tonight we had a parent/guardian meeting and the Guides meet for the first time.
We made these bracelets learning our first knot - the "fisherman's knot".
Each bead means a branch of Guiding...
Pink = Sparks
Orange = Embers
Blue = Guides
Green = Pathfinders
Red = Rangers
We also handed out our Mint Cookies! Please email Jacquie if you need more.

Are you new to our Girl Guide group? Here's what you need to know.
Welcome to the 47th Girl Guide Unit for the 2023 to 2024 season!
We are excited that you will be joining us this fall.
Our first meeting will be on Sept. 11th at 6:30 pm.
This meeting is going to a short one so you can meet the leaders and the other girls.
You will also need to bring your parent or guardian with you that night.
The meeting will be less than an hour long.
What can you do to get ready?
Order your uniform. You will need a t-shirt.
You can also add a badge sash (to put all your badges and emblems on) and a scarf that has maple leaves on it!

Cook Out Success
Tonight we had our final cookout at Jacquie's house.
On the menu - hot dogs cooked over charcoal, vegetable skewers on the propane bbq and then for dessert really epic s'mores!
