 We had a great evening of Year of the Tiger.

January 2022 Update!

Hello everyone!
I hope with the start of 2022 that everyone is well.

The leaders have been messaging with each other and have decided to delay our Guide Meetings until January 31^st.

We will evaluate the Covid situation over the weekend before that date to see whether we will meet in person or move to online Guiding.
All the leaders will have been booster vaxxed by the end of the month and we will have a better picture of the situation after the return back to school.

December Enrollment at Van Dusen

We had a great night of seeing lights and drinking hot chocolate on December 13th!
Most special was our enrollment of our newest GUIDES. Congratulations everyone.

What to know for Dec. 13

Meeting for December 13^th  

WHERE Van Dusen Gardens
Meet at the entrance just off Oak Street. 
There is a passenger drop off zone right out 
front!

Do not go into the parking lot!

WHEN  6:30pm

WHAT to WEAR 
Warm clothing, waterproof clothing, a toque, mittens or gloves,  
Girl Guide fleece scarf and boots if raining!

WHAT to BRING      A flashlight. A BIG umbrella if raining.

PICK UP TIME     8:00pm
The leaders will be providing hot chocolate and a snack! 
Please do not bring any spending money.

 

PJ and Bedroll Night - Nov. 15

It was a great night full of activity. Everyone was comfy in PJ and we learned how to tie up our essential sleeping items in a tarp.
It won't be a camp night without a s'more so we made brulee torch s'mores. Yum!

Honouring with Poppies

 Tonight we discussed how animals participated in times of war.

To remember the importance of this week we made poppies. 

3rd Place in the Pathfinder Amazing Race

Our team solved problems and passed challenges all around Granville Island to place 3rd in the Pathfinder organized Amazing Race.
