Our first meeting in September 2025

We hope you all had a great summer. We are excited about the new Guiding year ahead.

Our First Meeting

will be on Monday, September 8^th.

Time – 6:30pm to 7:00pm
Where - 1634 East 41^st Ave. (at Argyle Street)
Chinese Tabernacle Baptist Church

We need a parent or a guardian to attend with each Guide at this very short meeting.

If you are new to our unit, please make sure you have filled in the Epact online forms.
You should have got an email from the National organization.
You will want to update information on the digital forms.

We will have a full meeting next week, Sept. 15^th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.  

That's it for this year!

On our last night we went off to get treats at DQ and then we gave out membership pins, and cookie prizes.

This year we had special Cookie patches to -
With 5 cases - Halle, Delaney, Giselle
With 6 cases - Karina, Aimee, Primrose, Abrielle
and our Top Cookie Seller was - Hope with 14 cases.

It was sad to say goodbye to so many long-time Guides as they are 12 and up and moving on...
Abrielle, Halle, Mille, Primrose, Gabby, Hope, Aimee, Sydney, Homy, Freya and Karina.

Foodie Badge

 The anticipation was great as we made our own taco bowls for our taco salad and then made won ton desserts on our buddy burner with Wendy!

Weekend Camping

 The weather was great as our Guides camped alongside the Pathfinders.
A bif thank you to Wendy and Denise (the Pathfinder leader) for all the planning and shopping for this excellent weekend tent camping experience.

 

Camping 101

 Tonight we learned how to make a bedroll with our tarps and rope.

We made some decisions about what to wear and what not to wear.

To complete our evening we made an edible craft of a Guide in her sleeping bag.
